The TRUST Specialist:
- Provides short term individual/group counseling to enhance learner development.
- Provides developmental, preventative, and/or responsive guidance for individuals, small groups, and whole class groups to assist learners.
- Consults with teachers, parents/guardians, administrators and others as appropriate to meet learner needs.
- Identifies appropriate community resources in consultation with parents/guardians to address the special needs of individual learners and serves as a liaison to agencies.
- Collaborates in activities which support the effective management of the program.
- Participates in coordination and/or conducts activities which promote a safe and positive school climate.
